16 Nigerian Artists Who Have Gone MIA From The Music Stage In The Last 18 Months


Gone are the days when these artist rocked the clubs and airwaves,basically not much has been heard of them musically. The likes of Styl-plus, Bigiano, Faze and so many others are now placed in the history books of Nigerian music. See a list of the once famous groups and artists that are off the scene in Nigerian music:

Nigerian Born Superstar “W4” started doing music professionally in 2005 but his big break came with the massive hit song ‘Control’ in 2012. Nothing much can be said about him since after such big hit.

The once popular R&B group Styl-Plus is a made up four boys, Styl Plus was one of the hit-makers in the Nigerian music scene in 2003 when they released two monster hits, Olufunmi and Runaway.

In 2008, Bigiano made a compelling appearance on the music scene with the monster hit track, ‘Shayo’ and went on to become popular. Babalola Gabriel, aka Bigiano has been off the music scene for about four years after his hit-song, Shayo shot him to the limelight.
