Imo State Governorship Supplementary Election to Hold on April 25th

INEC has announced that the Imo State governorship election will be re-run on Saturday, April 25th in 256 polling units across 23 local government areas, Channels TV reports.
You will recall that INEC declared the initial governorship election in Imo State inconclusive due to the number of cancelled votes (144,715) in relation to the margin of win (79,529) by APC candidate, Rochas Okorocha.
According to reports, “INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Gabriel Ada, on Wednesday said the commission was more prepared and ready to conduct the supplementary election.”
