Many South Sudan Boys Kidnapped And Turned Into Child Soldiers

_81319650_81319649
Hundreds of boys in South Sudan have reportedly been kidnapped and forced to become child soldiers, the United Nations children’s agency says. BBC reports:
The figure is a big increase from the 89 children reported abducted by Unicef last month. Their latest statement blamed a militia group allied to the government. South Sudan is in a state of civil war with forces loyal to President Salva Kiir pitted against rebels led by former Vice-President Riek Machar.
The campaign group Human Rights Watch has accused both sides of using child soldiers. Unicef said the boys were abducted by the Shilluk Militia, under the control of Johnson Oloni. The government has previously said it has no control over the group.
“We fear [the children] are going from the classroom to the front line,” said Unicef’s representative in South Sudan, Jonathan Veitch. Witnesses report seeing children as young as 12 carrying guns, according to the UN. The seizure of the boys happened in an area known as Wau Shilluk, in oil-rich Upper Nile state. The UN believes 12,000 children were used as child soldiers across South Sudan last year.
About 1.5 million people have been displaced by the fighting in the country and 2.5 million are facing severe food shortages.

joystick Size Averages Studies Of The World 2015, See Where Nigeria Falls

 by biggy(m):
SEE Which Countries Has The BIGGEST joystick, And Which Has The Smallest

Men: you know what you’re working with – but how do you measure up with the rest of the planet?

If you’re a Brit, you might be disappointed to know the UK ranks is ranked ‘orange’, putting it in the bottom half globally.

Strictly speaking however, 5.5in – the average in Britain – is also the global average so you’re not on the small side, fellas, you’re just average.

British? Well you’re painfully average (Picture: Mandatory)
joystick Size Around the World

The global average is 5.5in – the size of the display on an iPhone 6 Plus.

The title of biggest manlinesses in the world goes to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where the average is 7.1in, while North Korea comes bottom of the pile with an average joystick size of 3.8in.

South America is comfortably the most well-hung continent, with an average of 6.36in.

Only 3 percent of men worldwide are dealing with 8in-plus and only 6 percent actually need extra large condoms.
The data was compiled on EveryoneWeb from a number of different studies.

Oh, and in answer to a question that has been asked for millenia, the proper way to measure is from the tip of the joystick to the very bottom of the pubic bone – so you can refer your other half to this article when they tell you otherwise.

Two Female Suicide Bombers Killed By Own Explosives In Borno

Two women apparently on a suicide bombing mission got killed by their own devices after failing to get a vehicle to take them to Damaturu, Yobe state capital, eyewitnesses said.
The incident, which happened at Ngamdu village, however, led to the death of two travelers, who were standing in close proximity to the suspected bombers as they waited for a bus to convey them to Damaturu, some 35km away.
Witnesses said the two women who showed up in Ngamdu village both looked strange.
According to one witness, who pleaded anonymity, a discerning bus driver whom the women flagged down to convey them to Damaturu, suddenly, became suspicious after observing how unkempt they both looked and quickly declined by pretending that he was not getting as far as Damaturu.
“Some of us were slightly suspicious when we saw them, but we felt they may not be what we suspected them to be”, said the witness.
He continued: “But when the driver stopped by to pick them, he later changed his mind and said he was not going as far as Damaturu; that he would only get to the next village about 5km ahead and then turn back to Maiduguri. One of the women who looked desperate insisted they should join the  driver so that he could take them back to Maiduguri so that theey could get a vehicle from there to Damaturu because they had waited all day without getting a vehicle, The driver declined and drove off; but we all knew the driver was actually going to Damaturu.
“Minutes after the driver had left them, one of the women tried to move a bit then we heard an explosion which instantly killed her and her colleague as well as two other innocent travellers who were also waiting for a bus. Seconds later, another bomb exploded from the body of the other woman who was with the first suicide bomber. That was when we realised that the women were actually on a mission to kill in Damaturu”.

APC Leaders Should Explain Where They Got Money To Buy Private Jets – Fani-Kayode

Buhari-Private JetThe Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, PDPPCO, has called on Nigerians to ask leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, where they got money to acquire private jets.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Campaign, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, made the call in reaction to an allegation by his counterpart in the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mallam Garba Shehu, that the President Goodluck Jonathan administration was planning to use the Ministry of Aviation to ground private jets belonging to senior members of the APC and frustrate the party’s campaign.
Fani-Kayode said it was interesting that APC had admitted, for the first time, that their leaders owned private jets.
He said, “It is interesting that the APC has, for the very first time, admitted that some of its leaders own private jets.  It will be interesting to know from the APC how these leaders, who either occupied public offices or still occupy public offices, acquired these jets.
“In fact, where did the money, with which they procured the jets, come from?
“And this is the APC whose leaders pretend to occupy a moral high ground and accuse everyone else, except themselves, of malfeasance.
“Once again, it is clear that the APC leaders have become prisoners of their own delusions and they are being held captive by their own hallucinations. This is a clear case of extreme paranoia.
“They are running under the bed when nobody is chasing them.  There are no plans to clamp down on anybody in the opposition. Our only plan is to humiliate them before the Nigerian people on March 28 by giving them a crushing defeat”.
