Pastor Oyakhilome’s wife files for divorce in London court, alleges

The wife is seeking divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery”. She outlined several allegations against the pastor which cannot publish for legal reasons. The divorce case, with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK, on Anita’s behalf by Attwaters Jameson Hill Solicitors, a full-service law firm with expertise in commercial law and a strong consumer focus in family, wills and estate, personal injury law and medical negligence.
Efforts to reconcile the popular couple, whose church is one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and has branches all over world, have failed. They have two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn." Continue...
Oyakhilome is the president of Believers’ Love World Inc, the registered name of the Christian ministry, while his wife is the vice-president. The pastor, according to an elder of the church, has denied allegations of adultery and believes his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who are intent on destroying their home. While Anita believes she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry. Sources told TheCable that the pastor had been making efforts to avoid divorce in the hope that the wife would eventually have a change of mind. However, the decree nissi was served on the charismatic pastor in his hotel room during a recent visit to the UK. Decree nissi, in legal terms, is like a yellow card in a football match which is a precursor to a red card (“decree absolute”) if no new evidence is provided to stall proceedings. Church insiders said Oyakhilome had been hoping for rapprochement, but he was left with no option than to receive the papers when the lawyers cornered him at his hotel in London. The decree absolute, which will effectively end the marriage, is expected to be issued soon while terms of the divorce will be worked out by the lawyers on both sides.

Boko Haram reportedly ‘beheading’ Christians in Gwoza

According to reports, Boko Haram militants are beheading young men in the Christian community in Gwoza, the Borno town that the insurgent group recently took over and declared an Islamic caliphate.

Sources from the town claim that Christian men who refuse to convert to Islam are being beheaded while the women are being forced into marriages with the insurgents.
"It is quite clear that terrorism has no friend, but it is abundantly clear that the Christians are worst hit. The whole town and the Parish rectory have been occupied by the terrorists. So many structures and items have been vandalized. Dozens have been killed and a lot of church structures have been burnt down. Christians in the town are really in a terrible situation, a moment of great persecution. Christian men were caught and beheaded, the women were forced to become Muslims and were taken as wives to the terrorists.” Rev. Fr. Gideon Obasogie, the social communications director of the catholic diocese of Maiduguri said. Continue...
“It might surprise you to know that no one knows the state of affairs in this terrorist zone. The houses of Christians that have fled are now occupied by the ‘haramists’. Their cars are used by the terrorists,” Rev Obasogie said.
He also said Boko Haram sympathizers in Gwoza showed the militants homes belonging to Christians and even showed them where some of the Christians went to hide when the killing began. They were fished out and killed.

Limpopo Master KCee: Im a Fashion Icon and I Can Brag About It

When you become a celebrity, you become the topic of everyone one, whether important or not.
Most male celebrities stay away from flashy colors when they dress up, but some singers dont even care and bask in the pinks and purples.
KCee is one of those who says hes ready to take up a new challenge in the style department in such bold colors.
Recently, he posted a photo posing next to a white door in a pink-and-black print shirt, pink pants, a black blazer and leopard print shoes, and got bashed by some fans.
A good number of his followers felt the look was toometro-s*xual; they aired their views in the most brutal way ever, slamming it from head to toe.
However, see what KCee thinks: -
As far as Im concerned those that are talking about my dress sense dont even know what fashion is all about, they just want to talk, and as a celebrity, people just want to pick on you and say whatever they like.
For those that know me very well, if theres anything that I can boast of, its fashion, I dont joke with it. Most of these talks actually started from pictures I posted on Instagram, and really I got the buzz I needed at that time, so I even went on to post more pictures so people would talk more, and guess what, my followers have increased drastically with all these fashion talks.
I dont even respond to them, I dont take it serious, Im happy and making more money, so Im not loosing anything. If you come to my wardrobe youll know what Im saying, Im a fashion icon and I can brag about it.
Sometimes there are some things you cant brag about, but for me I can brag about fashion, I dont have a problem with my fashion sense.
I dont have a stylist, I style myself. These same set of people that talk negatively about a certain outfit would commend me on another one, so I just see them as confused people. The truth is I dont get angry at them, rather I get inspired

A Michigan woman convicted earlier this year of shooting her lover in the stomach has been granted bond, set at $10,000. She also said to the police some very graphic things about how she expected him to perform, she was a cheap date, she liked sex, she expected him to be able to do what hes promised; and she said, in essence, to quote her, she was pissed off, so she shot him, Oakland County prosecutor Paul Waltontold Detroits WWJ.
The victim and alleged weak producer of semen, Edward Lee, suffered damage to his colon and pancreas. Prosecutors say he nearly died.
Lee was technically cheating, but not on Bell. The two of them had been carrying on a 15-year affair.
Bell was accused in 1991 of shooting her then-husband, but he refused to testify against her, and she was never convicted.
As of Thursday, she had yet to post the $10,000 cash bond. Prosecutors are in the process of challenging it, saying it never should have been granted.

Genevieve Nnaji running away from Nigeria because of ebola?

genevieve-nnaji-south-africa-nigeria
There’s something special about South Africa that makes actress Genevieve Nnaji prefer there to her home country Nigeria. Is it the peace, Nelson Mandela’s history or because its Ebola-free at the moment or it’s just about their coffee?
The Nollywood goddess took to her Instagram early Thursday morning to post an image of her drinking perhaps coffee or tea and wearing a blue-black tee which had a bold “Bla Bla Bla” inscribed on it over a distressed pair of jeans.
The ‘Keeping Faith’ actor who is currently in Cape Town captioned: “South Africa has got the best #YupIsaidit”
Given that she had the ‘bla bla bla’ going on on her t-shirt (saying you guys cabn say whatever you want to say) and she bravely saying what she said, what do you think Genevieve was referring to?
What is that thing South Africa has that is better than Nigeria?

"I'm sorry for the Adadevoh's pain" - Patrick Sawyer's widow says

Decontee Sawyer, the widow of late late Liberian, Patrick Sawyer, the man who brought the deadly Ebola disease to Nigeria, says she regrets the death of Doctor Ameyo Adadevor of First Consultant Hospital, who died of the Ebola virus on Tuesday August 19th after being infected by Sawyer.

In an email to Leadership.ng, Mrs Sawyer, who lives in Minnesota, USA, said she's pained that her late husband caused so many others so much pain both in Liberia and Nigeria.
"I share the pains that the family members of the Nigerian doctor are going through. It is just a pity that Patrick had to cause this damage both in Liberia and Nigeria.” Continue..
"I want to reach out to them and express how deeply saddened and sorry I am for their loss and their pain. I do apologise if my words have cost anyone who is grieving more pain. I fall on my knees and ask God for his healing power for all of those who are still infected with Ebola. I pray for all of the families whose loved ones were taken away by this merciless killer Ebola, especially those affected by Patrick’s actions.
“Ebola didn’t start with Patrick in Liberia, as we both know. Ebola was in Liberia from a traveller from Guinea since February of this year. The government knew about it and did nothing. Many Liberians, including me, called out to the government then to close the borders. They didn’t do so until one of their own, Patrick (Sawyer), died in July.
“Many people died before Patrick and their lives were just as important. That is my frustration. Ebola didn’t have to go to Nigeria, Africa’s most populated country, had the Liberian government taken drastic actions sooner. I, too, have family members and friends in Nigeria, and now they are at risk because of Patrick’s actions.
“In spite of my anger and disappointment with him, I don’t believe that he did this with evil intent (I could be wrong). I believe his actions were that of a desperate man. And sad for everyone involved, Nigeria was closer than the U.S. This is just my take on what he could have been thinking (of course, I could be wrong).
“My regret is that I was so caught up in my own pain and frustration, that I neglected to see the pain of the innocent people both in Liberia and Nigeria who are affected by Patrick’s actions. For that, I am deeply sorry. The last thing I wanted to do was to cause them pain. It is a pain I know. It is a pain I don’t want them to have.”
